An interesting lesson with Chondra Herman

I had a very interesting meeting with Chondra. Who is Shondra? She is an invited specialist from the USA who teaches us Financial Literacy. She is a pretty and friendly girl. I enjoyed every second of our lesson. Our lesson lasted about 90 minutes and we managed to answer some questions about finances, read Vahan Teryan, danced, had a discussion about Armenia and about America, she was eager to learn some Armenian words and we taught her.

First, I want to talk about test. She gave us a questionnaire and 20 minutes for answering. It was an easy but at the same time very interesting test. There were some questions about financial institutions and services, income and expenses, savings and interest rates.

Second, Mrs. Silva had planned an open lesson on the compositions of Vahan Teryan. Chondra, Vahe, Nelly read some poems. I think it was great , Chondra liked it too. Then we started listening to the songs based on the poems of Teryan. We recited , danced and enjoyed the lesson.

Finally, after dancing, we had a discussion about our traditional food and their traditions. She said that had tasted our Dolma and Ghapama and it was delicious . Chondra also talked about our school, she said that she liked Armenians too ,as we are very kind, hospitable and friendly people. I am looking forward to our next lesson.
